Our History and Today
In 1976 The founder of Industrial Services Enterprises, Frank Donnelly, invented, developed and patented the first commercial roof raising system in the United States in response to a client's request for more headroom in his building. From this small beginning we developed the EZ RISER lifting system. Since then we have continually improved and refined our system to make it the smoothest, fastest, and safest system for increasing space in sound buildings.
Others have attempted their own roof raising systems with marginal success along with a case of a collapsed building. These other methods utilize unstable cribbing systems that jeopardize the structural stability during the lifting process. These systems require an abundant amount of braces and guide wires that get anchored to the concrete slab. This system leaves behind unsightly holes and cracks in the floor. These other systems push the roof from the existing floor slab and damage to the slab can occur. Our structural sleeves and telescopic steel columns cause no damage to the existing slab and also serve as your permanent new column.
EZ RISER has lifted over ten million square feet of roofs in the United States, creating over one hundred million cubic feet of usable space. All with a 100% safety record that can not be matched.
Today, our key personel bring over 80 years of combined roof raising experience to EZ RISER. Our field crew foremen bring an additional 50+ years of experience. Our skilled ironworkers average over 10 years of experience. Our field crews are compiled of foreman, ironworkers and certified welders.
